Running Elyeeka Collective has been one of the most beautiful and challenging things I’ve ever done in my life. It has given me the opportunity to use my gifts to help people from many parts of the world and from diverse backgrounds grow their businesses, it has given me the opportunity to allow myself to grow, and face a lot of my fears, and most of all, it has given me the opportunity to meet some of the most beautiful, most intelligent and most inspiring women in this world.
To run a successful business you need to have the mindset of a successful business owner, first and foremost. Then, you need of course, the know-how and the right people around you, as well as lots of patience. No matter how many clients you get, how much money you make and who is your coach, if you don’t have the right mindset and the stomach to bounce back when things go unplanned, it’ll only be a matter of time before you’re out of business.
I’m saying this because I had to learn this the hard way. My business shot up so fast I needed to step back from it to decide what to do because it had become overwhelming to run it alongside all the other things that were going on in my life the past few months. It’s easy to talk the talk, but walking the walk is a whole different thing. I had to go MIA on everyone because I thought I would lose my mind. The business that once brought me so much joy and drive was becoming the very thing that left me burned out, overwhelmed, confused with all the other things that were going on in my life.
It’s wrong to make excuses for anything, and I’m not making excuses, and I won’t talk into detail of all the things that were happening because I’m not trying to organize a pity party. What this post is about is firstly to apologize to my audience for suddenly ghosting on all of you and let you know the direction I decided to take my business in during this hiatus. I’m truly sorry.
And because I know sorry is not enough, I’m going to let you know a bit of what’s been going on and how I’m making it up to you in my new content and brand direction.
One thing I’m so thankful for is my ability to bounce back, so once again, here I am, making things happen 💃🔥
During my hiatus, I took the time to reassess everything and I found that what I really want to do with business is to design luxurious and authentic brands for creative online businesses that are really ready to play big and dominate their markets. I want to help businesswomen who are trying to appeal to a whole new high end audience or are going through a pivot to create a solid brand strategy and visuals that communicate their brand message with clarity and are beautiful to look at, not just logos, or boring websites, or empty visuals, but thoughtfully designed brand identities and strategies that connects you to your dream clients and gives you the confidence to slay your goals. (I wrote about my new packages in detail here)
On my blog, I’m taking it a notch higher too. You’re going to be finding informative reads and videos on branding your business to stand out, growing your creative online business and growing yourself as a business owner and truly living your best life as well as doses of inspiration to get you out of ruts and kicking ass!
There’s so much more I’ve planned for you to really help you build the business that makes you pinch yourself so many times a day because you can’t believe it’s finally happening, strap yourself in!
I want to hear from you, tell me something you’ve learned this year and something you’ve achieved or something you’re bouncing back from!
